Eeeking out a living

I was sort of upset that Native Americans are trying to eek out a living, selling merchandise in these makeshift store fronts along I-40 at a "Scenic View" in New Mexico.  I talked to a woman named Ar, who seemed to be the only one selling, and she seems to be working three jobs, raising kids, and making the costume jewelry she was selling.

I can't help her or the others, but I can only hope for their future to become much better.
